Hello,

I have instaled a few alarms over the past few years , but none where I have to splice into the BCM pins..... :errr:

I recently got a Scytek Astra 777 new in box, with a 2-way pager, and a few connections require pins 14,18, 20 and one other pin on the BCM in my Nissan 350Z.

My question is.... when the instructions say to splice this trigger or dome light supervisor to "BCM pin 60",  are you supposed to take some insulation from the wire that goes to that pin, and solder your alarm wire onto that wire, or fit the wire tip into the pin?

I am looking for the best way to make the connection at the BCM pin locations. I know that I will solder, but not sure to what, a wire or a pin?

Thanks much in advance.

George

You would just connect it like you connect it to any other wire in the car.  They simply give you pin number to help you locate the correct wire.  Still verify the wire with a meter.
