Key sense, start &  ACC wire are all the same for this vehicle ( VIOLET/BROWN ). The PKUCG2X module will take care of the MUX resistance for remote start.

so I need to wire the main start and acc from the remote start to the inputs on the module, and then just wire the module to the vehicle per instructions?

Yup, you have to wire up both the starter from the RS and at the ignition switch on the Patriot.

So the large gauge fused wires off the remote start do not get connected to the vehicle just to the module, other than constant ground and parking light...also the remote start has a relay for the 2nd ignition, acc, or start...the module i have takes care of that correct.  Sorry for so many questions i just want to have this all planned out before i try to install

You still need to hook up the IGN, 12V constant ( both ), park lights and also the ground to the vehicle as well as the starter to the module. No connection required from the RS to the vehicle for the ACC, 2nd ACC/IGN/STARTER since the module takes care of the ACC through MUX.

ok to double check here..  remote start: main power connector: 12V ACC goes to nothing, 12V starter goes to module, 12V ignition goes to module, Ground to vehicle, constant to vehicle, parking lights to vehicle

also the diagram for the anit grind/starter kill shows i cut the starter wire to wire it in...so i wire it in on the violet/brown mux wire along with the module?

Absolutely not! Do not cut the mux wire. It is not a starter wire, it's a data wire. If you want to hook up the kill relay you will have to go under the hood, yellow gray wire in module on drivers side.

I have to cut the mux wire for the installation of the module...i have to hook the violet/white wire to the BCM side and the violet wire to the key side

Looking at diagram B on the installation sheet shows that there are (4) connections from the remote starter to the module. DISARM, IGNITION, GWR & STARTER. The starter has to be connected to the vehicle harness too ( **** IF THE CAR HAS A STARTER WIRE ***** ). I have not installed this module before but it does state to CUT the MUX wire and wire to the VIOLET and the VIOLET/WHITE wire at the module. Depending on if your remote starter requires an ignition ON/OFF confirmation, you will also need to connect the IGNITION wire from the vehicle to the remote starter as well as the PINK wire from the module.

Also as stated before you will need to hook up the 12 volt constant and the ground to the remote starter.

the start coming off the remote start goes straight into a relay.. this is for the antigrind...should i run the output of the relay to my module being that my vehicle doesnt have a starter wire
