This is normally a function of the BCM...NOT something controlled by a wire. Is there something specific that makes you think the locking at 15mph feature burned out the locks? The truck is 9 years old. It is probably just time to get new actuators. I have had to replace quite a few of them in trucks this age.

im working on this rigth now , and heres what i found so far :
as soon as you turn the key the relays on the module make a very faint click click , and it keeps that way , then nyou start the truck it stops , but when you reach 15 mph it starts to lock (try to lock ) so the relays go click , click , etc.
and the way i know that it has to be some signal from the engine is that the signal to lock at 15 mph has to be a vaccum because when you are at + 15 mph and you let go the accelerator it stops clicking but when you accelerate it clicks again thats the reason i know it has to be some ground that activates the actuators
i am going to try to test this
