I have a 98 Dakota. It has, from the factory, a door lock/panic remote. The Valet, in my truck, does not have that (doorlock/panic) option. Anyway,
The truck wouldn't start (as if it were flooded) an when I was turning it over, with the key, the vehicle just shut off completely. I have plenty of power but it seems like a bad ground, but that isn't the problem. There is a continuous ticking sound coming from the glove box area. The interior lights wont come on, no power to the power windows or door locks... Is there a way to remove the valet 562t from my truck, successfully? If so, how???

remove everything you connected. check your main fuses. if the car wont start, ticking, and etc you may be over your head (judging by this being your first post) and just take it to a dealer.

Unless you have a good reason to suspect that the remote starter is somehow causing the problem, you might just be wasting your time, and then you won't have any remote starter anymore either.
Have you already tried the basic stuff? Jump start, maybe remove battery and bring it to a parts store. Most of them test and charge batteries for free.

I accidentally found the problem.
The starter, itself, had a bad ground.
Thanks!
