I was wondering if there were any way to make it so that when you remote start a vehicle it automatically locks the doors. The car is a 95 Jeep Cherokee. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the 561R have a ground while running wire, or a wire labeled status? If so, and there is no other provisions to lock the doors, you can do it with the Constant to momentary relay setup found under special applications under the relay information to the left of here. If nobody knows of a way to do it, I will post some info for you.

This unit has the standard DEI green and blue lock outputs, it's there in the owner's manual if I remember right that vehicle uses pos. pulses to trigger the lock/unlock relays which are in a relay box under dash or at the DKP. To the first poster you should have accessed the installation guide.

Does the 561R have a GREEN / WHITE "factory rearm" wire?
If it does, I believe that wire makes an output just after starting, and also after remote start shutdown.
You should be able to use the GREEN / WHITE to trigger a relay, to make a positive trigger, to lock the Jeep's doors.
