hello. i installed my car alarm and i wanted some help on a few things and i hope all my question will get answered.

-basically i want my car to chirp with the lock and unlock through the factory camry piezo speaker.

-i want only the signal lights to light up not the parking lights with lock and unlock.

-and also if it is possible to have my high beams light up when the alarm goes off.

1    I'm sure it's possible, look for the piezo and apply power to it from the horn honk wire thru a relay.

2    Signals are the same as hazards, white negative at the switch. If you need turn signals, yellow and green at the fuse box, 12 pin plug, pin 9 and 12(may not be the same plug).

3    I'm sure finding the highbeam wire is simple, you know it's a negative at the light switch...

thanks alot for the help. but from the alarm itself how would i make the high beams go off which wires would give that output?

If you want them to flash you would use the parking light output, just be sure of polarity. How are your lights connected now? If they are negative you could just tap into them and diode isolate...

But wouldn't that make the high beams flash when I lock and unlock the car?

tie it with a relay to your siren output....... but you'll need to program confirmation chirps off, or you'll have the same problem.......

but that will defeat the purpose of what i was doing. i wanted to have the factory chirp instead of the viper siren as unlock and lock confirmation.

What alarm do you have? I know on viper units you can program the parking lights to not flash with lock/unlock

i have a viper 5901 alarm. but i still want to keep the light confirmation with lock and unlock without the high beams. i guess its an either or situation unless someone can advise something else.
