Here is the scenario.
i'm putting an impact-3000 alarm on a schooll bus for some of my friends. A couple days ago, everything worked great. Then one of my friends went to show it off. He set the alarm off getting in and used the override button to stop it. Now the alarm doesn't work correctly. It seems to arm or disarm fine. However, when doors are opened...it doesn't go off. Also now you could ram it with a bulldozer and the shock sensor wouldn't set it off. If you hit it it gives warning chirps, but the alarm itself won't trigger. Before tapping it would set it off. Am i in valet mode or what? I need ANY help please.

Is the LED on constantly on? If so, that may indicate that the alarm is in valet mode, but consult your user/install manual. I know the LED is constant when the DEI (Viper, Clifford, Python, ...) and Audiovox systems are in valet.
