I'm still undecided as to which way I should go with this, could you guys weigh in on this, and what your recommendations would be. Additionally I have a very important question, that being when you install an after market car alarm such as the Avital 5303L w/remote engine start in a vehicle that has the factory installed engine immobilizer key chip security common on many cars today will this feature be disabled when you install the aftermarket alarm that utilizes a bypass for the remote start, I'm suppose to take my car in to this guy by 10 this morning, so your imput would be greatly appreciated, thanks all.

i know you new, but dude you only need one post. posted_image

it is only "bypassed" during remote start activiation.  Otherwise im sure cars would be stolen left and right.  Direct your questions to the person installing the unit. because we may tell you how we do it, and the guy may do something the complete opposite.
