If there is anyone that can help me, would be greatly appreciated.
I installed a basic Vizion alarm on a 2010 toyota corolla. The problem is that..the customer came back and said that the alarm was going off every 30 minutes. i had this problem once before on a ford. so all i did was eliminated the door triggers. i did that on the toyota and sent the customer on his way. he came back again a couple days later saying that the alarm was still going off by itself. i double checked my wiring, checked the schematics, and everything is hooked up exactly like the schematics say! So now the alarm still keeps going off periodically withing 25 to 45 minutes. is there a way to eliminate this problem? please let me know! THANK YOU!

The alarm has no diagnostics you can check? Most have a way to determine the last trigger point thru LED flashes. Fords are that way because the battery saver feature in the car falls asleep and triggers the alarm. The Corolla has no such issue so your problem lies elsewhere.

I'm with Mike M2 on this. Toyotas have no sleeper circuits and it's a different problem, either a sensor, bad hood switch or the Alarm CPU itself.

understood gentlemen. thank you for your help. but after a headache some coronas and time i figured it out. you have to hook up the doorlocks straight from the switch in the door. which requires some wire running. then you have to hook up the double pulse unlock to the pink wire in the kick panel for the double unlock pulse for the other 3 doors and diode isolate it. thank you for you help!

there are diagnostics. its a knockoff compustar, but has same diagnostic codes and brain wiring pinout.
