I just purchased a new remote for my CS 270i-C remote starter. I found a couple older posts for this starter but the links don't seem to work anymore. Does anyone have programming instructions for this system??

i think on those command starts as i remember but been awhile that all you do is flash the hoodpin and make sure parklights stay on then hold down i think either lock or start on remote till till the lights blink at you. i think that is how. but could be wrong

Thanks for the help but I can't get my parking lights to stay on. I am pressing and releasing the hood switch. Lights come on then I quickly press and release hood switch. The parking lights are supposed to stay on after that but they go out after 3 seconds. Anything I'm doing wrong?

alot of the time the hood pin is all rusty and doesnt work so check to see if it is and try using like wd-40 on it or replace it. put ya flashing the hoodpin is pressing it once then let go then quickly pressing it again. the lights should stay on
