Hello
Know this might be a basic question but I'm stumped. Everything is hooked up an works on the alarm (locks/lights/horn/etc) except for bypassing the neutral start switch (on the clutch pedal). I can set the manual transmission start mode and when I hit the remote start, ignition comes on and clock dims as if it's trying to start the car without bypassing the neutral start switch.
I can hook 12V (+) up to the WHITE/ yellow wire on the stock neutral safety switch (clutch pedal) from the starter wire and all works well with remote start but then I no longer have the neutral clutch feature.
My hook-ups on the heavy guage wires are:
Ignition 1 Input/Output (+)(Pink):
Ignition wire from ignition harness (BLACK / YELLOW)
Fused (30A) Ignition 2/Flex Relay Input 87 (+)(RED / White):
12V Constant from ignition harness
Accessory Output (+)(Orange):
Accessory 1 Wire from Ignition harness (pink/blue)
Starter Output (Car Side)(Violet):
BLACK/ White wire going to starter
Starter Input (Key Side)(Green):
BLACK/ White wire going to key side
Fused (30A) Ignition 1 Input (+)(Red):
12V constant from ignition harness
Ignition 2 / Flex relay Output (+)(Pink/White):
Ignition 2 (BLACK/ orange)
Flex Relay Input 87a (Key Side)(+)(Pink/Black):
Unused
Fused (30A) Accessory/Starter Input (+)(RED / Black):
12V constant from ignition harness
Is this where my problem is? How does this bypass work? Neutral safety switch on the unit is hooked up properly.
Neutral safety input on the 18pin harness is hooked up to the parking brake.
Thanks
Mike
Not too familiar with this but doesn't the clutch switch have to receive the violet from your unit, your unit has to be set up as a manual and I THINK you might have your ign. 1 and ign. 2 the wrong way round.
Doesn't that circuit go starter contact on ignition switch to clutch switch then out connecting your BLACK/ white NSS wire to the parking brake?
