2008 Jeep Patriot

DEI 591r  xpresskits xk532

Remote start works fine.  Randomly locks doors, flashes hazards and honks horn while driving.  Has anyone seen this before.  Seems like xk532 is setting off factory alarm?  Any fixes or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks ERIK

you have it wired up at d2d or w2w?

check your ground connections. a bad ground leads to many erratic problems.

It is wired W2W. I will check ground and move it. Thanks

Definitely a bad connection. Bad Ground being the most common....also could be a problem with 12V connection/voltage not being constant.

Another thought this all started when I began to make connections to the igntion harness. I can't rememder if it was the ignition or MUX wire. I don't know if this helps.

What wire do you have the 12V connected to? Red or RED / Orange...or other? The RED / Orange 12V wire is rated at 10amps...aka, you should find a different source (the battery, or Red wire at the TIPM..The TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) is in the engine compartment, on the driver fender.)

12volts is connected in the harness. I thought about it moving it after the problems. I will move it to a better spot. Thanks
