just installed viper 5901 on 04 chevy silverado four door using XK01 interface. programmed alarm to double pulse. doors lock but dont unlock. please help me solve this problem. doors unlock after three times. please help. thanks ------------- RAMON

not sure on that one are you using d2d or wire to wire for hook up
if you want all the doors to unlock with one unlock command
the bypass will do it it self just set the mode
are you sure that you have it set to vehicle type 4
double check that they type is right

its wire to wire. set at mode 1 option 2. going crazy. what to do. check engine light came on the truck also. what can cause this?

Do you have the ignition 2 wire hooked up, if not that can be bad for the trany and the check engine light will come on
should have a white and a pink for ignition on that one and an orange and brown for accessory
are you sure you have vehicle type 4 selected with the wrong type it will not control the doors right
and turn off the double pulse from the remote start
if you want all doors to open on one push set mode one to option one
if not set mode one to option 2 for drivers priority doorlock
i have always found this ones to work well if programed right
might want to reset the bypass and reprogram it

just installed new viper 5901 with remote start on 04 chevy silverado 4 door truck. ever since installing it my battery drains after a couple of days. i replaced battery with new one and I STILL HAVE PROBLEMS. ALSO I USED XK01 AND DOORS DONT OPEN ALL THE TIME. DOOR TRIGGER ISNT WORKING EITHER. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE. THANKS IN ADVANCED.

did you program the XK01 for the proper vehicle? type 4??
