Hello everyone,

I have been researching this for many hours now, and am at wits end. I recently purchased a 2005 Honda S2000 and recently found a car alarm brain under the dash. I've pulled it out and for the life of me can't find nor infer a model number from all of the numbers on the back. The install looks very well done so I'm sure it will work once I get a transmitter for it.

I'm hoping that someone can help me determine which model it is. I'll post all of the numbers below. Thanks in advance!

Serial number(?): 090410505243600150
FCC ID: H5OR52
numbers on PCB: PPL100-1C.PCB 2008-06-12
elsewhere on PCB: 0909

PS: the QA tester's number is 0904. Then the next set of numbers might be the model number? 105? On a website I found a model called 105-Pro.

How can I confirm this before I drop the coin on a transmitter?

Awesome - I would never have known to look there to find anything at all.

That IS dated after the PCB and the wiring diagram has the exact layout of the "brain".

A couple more questions. I'm going to guess that this could still be an Audiovox/Pursuit branded product? So, this company builds these in Taiwan and sells them to companies like Audiovox?

As it is, I don't see a way for me to get a transmitter yet, nor support. Is there any way to know who this guy sold this alarm to to get some support for it?

Wait, maybe this will help. I just purchased a Honda key fob off of ebay and tried to program (before I knew there was a car alarm under the dash). I followed the programming instructions and the system behaved as it should (after a series of keypresses and switching the ignition on and off, the door locks activated as they should). But no matter what I did, the transmitter didn't work by following Honda's instructions.

The jist of what I'm getting at, is was this system possibly designed to use this Honda key fob?

FWIW, though it was 11 years ago, while in college I was a car audio and alarm installer. It's pretty easy work when you're installing a new alarm - it' a lot harder working backwards like this.
