looking or info on data wires on 2008 ford f 250 diesel,,,, i datalink locations are not accurate either is audiovox,or peripheral,any help?

should be PURPLE / white and yellow/black coming from the ignition cylinder.

iDatalink information is correct. You just have not found the correct wires at the steering column. Remove the shroud and this will be easier to find the wires at the PATS module. Otherwise if you know what wires to meter ( VIOLET/GRAY & YELLOW/RED ) you will find these wires in the group of wires running from the steering column.

have located wires but think the production date is an issue from what i understand

Any pre 2008 doesn't have PATS for the Super Duty's. If this is the new body style SD, then it doesn't matter on the build date. There are two of each one of the wires that I listed in the harness, that is why I suggested to go straight to the PATS module instead. There you will find the RX and TX wires without having to guess if you have the correct ones.
