I just installed an autopage c3-rs665 into my 98 silverado. I cannot get remote start to function because I cannot get into the programming function no matter what I try. I am very mechanically inclined and have installed alarms before so I know the alarm is installed properly"I hope". All I get when I try to enter programming after on off 3 times then pressing the button 9 times is one chirp and thats it no matter what. The led is constantly blinking 4 times when the alarm is off which is puzzling me as well. I have the safety switch grounded and everything else done properly I think and this is not a very advanced vehicle so I just cant figure out where my problem lies and any help would be greatly appreciated thanks....

do you have the hood pin open by any chance  you need to have it open in order for it to go to programming and the autopages are a lil trickier thsan most alarms i also once in a while i have a run in with these auto pages .
------------- installers do it best. we got the magic hands!

well figured the issue out finally....
I had used those connectors that you crimp to wires to connect them instead of using solder...big mistake obviously so I had went wire to wire re-doing each wire securely soldering each one and after doing this my problem was solved and everything functioned properly...One of the wires or more must have not gotten a good connection from the connectors that I had used but all is good now...so if ur having issues make sure everything is soldered securely
