2007 sequoia autolamp problems

I installed a keyless entry Remote starter with extra Aux. outputs into a 2007 Toyota Sequoia. The Remote start works fine, and when the remote start ends I have the rearm wire connected to the drivers door pin switch to shut down the Autolights. But, when she uses the extra Aux. outputs to raise or lower the window in the tailgate, the autolights come back on when dark out. Since its a Aux. output and not the keyless entry or remote start commands, the Remote starter will not send a signal down the rearm wire to the drivers door pin. Therefore the lights stay on till the battery dies. The reason the autolights come on when the tailgate window moves is because to get it to move you need to power up the ignition 2 wire while supplying power to the switch at the same time.
    The customer discovered that this is what was causing their battery to die. I haven't looked at the truck yet, but I know that there is no autolamp position at the headlight switch. But, the truck still has autolamps. I was just going to interupt the autolamp wire, Directed lists one at the headlight switch. I just feel it is not going to be there since there is no position on the switch.
    Any input on this? I was wondering how you guys are handeling this?

I was actually thinking of something like that. I was going to see if the rear keycylinder controlled the window and run wires back there to those wires.
   The only thing is I work outside and there is like 2Ft of snow here. I was hoping to get a solution under the dash(so I can run the heat..) I had actually read how to do the rear window like I did on here, so I know people do it this way. I was wondering how they overcome the autolights. Any other ideas?

I work outside too, so I know how you feel. I wouldn't want to run wires back into the tailgate either.

There is something you could try, but I don't know if it would work.

So, right now, you have your remote starter's aux outputs going to some relays, so that you are triggering the car's ignition and window up/down wires, correct?

Well, supppose you also have your aux outputs drive a relay, and the relay goes to the car's door trigger wire.

(Might need some diodes in there so that opening the car door doesn't also turn on your ignition and up/down relays you already have.)

It's really going to depend on how the car likes the timing. The car's ignition is going to turn off at the EXACT moment that the door trigger goes away........either the car is happy and shuts down the lights, or it doesn't. Worth a try though.

If that doesn't work, maybe you could use a capacator on that extra relay, to hold the door trigger just a little bit longer.
