is the connecting the vechicle secuirty light a necessary connect on a 07 m45 (or other inifiti's that the DLPK is compatible wth). Will it prohibit the remote start sequence if it is not connected.  also what color wire is this in the car since it has to be cut in half.

The security light wire in only so that the light doesn't turn on when remote started. That's why it's cut and run through a relay internally in the module.
