I know this is going to sounds really dumb and noob like but I can't seem to find the 2nd unlock wire on the 1 pin harness.
In the install manual it says it's a "Light Blue" H2/6. I understand that on the new system the Remote start input and output and h2 harness are connected into one 1-pin harness now?
That's what my 1-pin looks like. What pin on that harness corresponds to the 2nd unlock wire

i run into the same issue, according to online installation manual:
https://www.directeddealers.com/manuals/IG/Viper/N5702V_2008_08web.pdf
H2 is 8pin harness, while Viper 5901 paper manual shows 18pin, and no 2nd unlock (?)

Use a spare aux for this function.

Yes as howard said the spare auxiallaries can be programmed to perform second unlock function!

One more question regarding this topic. According to the PDF manual there is a reverse polarity on LOCK UNLOCK
blue (-) unlock (+)lock
green (-) lock (+)unlock
but according to tha PAPER diagram (first post) it only supplys (-), which is actually true with my Viper. At first i wired everything assuming i have (+) positive outputs and then had to add additional relays.
Can anybody confirm this behavior? that new units only have negative outputs?

And also it would be much better if 2nd unlock was activated after pressing UNLOCK button the second time. Weired that they haven't implemented this, in such a sophisticated alarm.

That option is definitely there with the 5901 prior to the 18 pin harness. I can't help but think the Bitwriter would allow you to program an aux output the same way. As long as the vehicle you are working on has the ability to have the driver's door unlock separate from the rest, (separate relays) then you should be good. I know I've used this feature a few times.

Yes the new units only have negative outputs! Also the unit does second unlock when you press the unlock button twice, dei do make mistakes sometimes, but they aren't unreasonable, lol!

"This wire produces a (-) 200mA output for progressive locks in which the driver
door unlocks first and the remaining locks unlock with a second press of the
unlock button on the remote."
is what the 5901 manual says for the light blue wire.
But yes, it may need to be programmed in the unit to act that way.

I confirm! once H2/6 is programmed with 2nd unlock (menu 2, option 6) second tap on UNLOCK button opens all the doors. pretty neat!!
