all compustars come only with the wireing diagram and user Manuel. If anyone has a actual install Manuel for the above stated unit I would like to get a copy of it. Thanks

tedmond, both of our suppliers did away with the installation manuals for Compustar. At first we were getting them for the CM6000 series, but now none of them come iwth it anymore.

There are quick reference guides in the units. All master installation guides are on www.firstechonline.com if you are an authorized dealer register as a TECH. =)

I am not an authorized dealer they won't let me be becouse I have no storefront and work from home. I am just a guy running his own show trying to pay taxes and stay alive. As far as what I need I was just installing the autosatart alarm and wanted to know what every wire did/does so I really wanted an install Manuel so I can use as many of the features I can also I know I need to get the op500 programmer to use some of the features. So if anyone has one I would like to get an install Manuel so I can install and add features to a unit in my own vehicle to aid in sales of these. Thanks

tacoturbo95, the reason why there is no installation manual and the fact that the information is not readily available on Compustar's site is because they only want authorized dealer installers to install the systems. By keeping the information to authorized dealers, this reduces the amount of false warranty claims for units that were installed incorrectly. This also keeps their tech lines free from DIY'ers calling in because they can't figure out why their remote's do not work out of the box.

Regardless, here is the installation manual for the CM6000:

I understand compustars reasoning behind not selling to the public. But they allow sales on eBay and shops can sell uninstalled product to consumers so if they were trying to stop false claims and unauthorized persons from useing there products they should elimintate all online sales of their units and cut off dealers who sell uninstalled units to non authorized installers. I have been installing for many years had my own shop, worked for car toys, etc. Know I run a tinting company and do alarms and stereos to fill up the slow times. I have tried to be a dealer but they will not allow it becouse I dont have a store front(I work from home and am mobile). In reallity it seems they are not really protecting themselves that well becouse I can get these from many shops and off eBay and return them easilly. Long story short thanks for the Manuel
