Just bought a ultra start U4500A-XR-LT and the seller (ebay) didn't send any inst with it. It is new from all that I can tell. Also is this a 2way will I be able to tell if my car is running without seeing it? Any help would be great.

thanks

one more thing I already have a ultrastart remote start with keyless installed on my expedition (installed myself about a month ago) then I found this 2 way at a good price could I just plug the brain from the 4500 into the harness on the one that is already istalled and working, and do I have to install the alarm portion for the 4500 to work. (don't want the alarm)

Here is the manual for the u4500:  https://www.ultrastarters.com/manuals_download_pdf/English/MAN-45XX-INSTALL-U.pdf

I don't believe you will be able to swap brains.  Ultra Start's 6 pin power harness is usually the same but the other main harness varies a lot.  The door lock harness will probably be the same but the antenna harness is different.

Overall the Ultra Start units are very good.

thanks for the link. Will have to compare the wiring form both units and see what I can do. Could you tell me if I can install without using the alarm portion?

thanks again
