Hi all, doing a 2006 chrysler 300 2.7 with a avital 4113 and XK03 on Friday, This is just for a friend, or I would have had her get a different bypass :) anyway have read everything on here about the mux setup, have seem some slight differences in the 2 relay, 2 resistor, 2 diode setups, was going to use this Bulldog diagram
https://www.bulldogsecurity.com/diagrams/extrainfo/diagrams/20826_300_CHRYSLERS%20STARTER%202%20AND%20ACCESSORY%20DIAGRAM.pdf
would appreciate any advice pointers on this, like resistor values somebody has used since I see different values on different diagrams
and any advice on avoiding the lockout problems mentioned on this site
should I just try and not unplug any harnesses?
thanks

what are you planning on using to get by the sentry key that bypass will not do it. xk03 is a door lock and alarm only interface.
should of gotten the DLPKCHG2 (xk532) or other brand for that that does the mux and the sentry bypass with out a key, and doors and alarm, trunk.
but you can do the relay diagram you posted for the start and a key wrap for the sentry bypass. but if your getting in to that u could just also do the disarm/arm with the doorlock wire and resistors too. and no xk03 bypass
by the way 180 and 610 are what the ohms show in my list for that car

Monty_77,
Thanks!! for saving me a big head-ache, guess I was not paying close enough attention when I looked at what she had... that's why I love this site. I got an XK532 at a local shop, should be good to go

Couple more questions, ended up with DLPKCHG2 bypass, planning on using d2d, Now I have confused myself, thinking this bypass would eliminate the need for the double relay/resistor setup since it handles the mux crap, is this the case? if so where do I connect accessory wire from r/s?
also on 2 pin blue harness from DLPKCHG2 brown wire goes where?
the manual for that bypass is horrible, well horrible for dummies like me anyway...

the accessory wire of the remote start will not be used in this set up.
the red wire of the blue connector just get hooked to any ignition wire from the remote starter to the ignition wire of the vehicle where you make the connection
the brown wire should not be hooked to a ground if you have the starter wire which you do pink/green on this car. so you should not have to connected to any thing. This wire is for vehicles that do not have a positive starter wire in them.
now if you use d2d you will not have to hook up the bypass wire as follows green, blue, pink/white, orange, red, black. you will aslo not have to hook up the door trigger of the alarm/remote start should go through the d2d cable
the brown on the main 10 pin will still have to go the ground while running or status output of the remotes starter
the violet/white will get connected to the PURPLE / brown mux wire on the car. you do not have to cut the wire just tie into it
pink connect this wire to the remote starter output wire of the remote starter can also be connected at the starter wire on the vehicle were you made the connection.
the violet wire of the bypass will have to go to the skim harness WHITE/ orange. this is located right next to the key cylinder.
if you have trouble program in the transponder in the box, i sometimes take the board and all out of the plastic case so i can touch transponder directly to the key cylinder to program it.
hope this helps
