Just got one for really cheap and want to add it on to my alarm(sidewinder 6500esp). Someone said to wire the green and blue to the hoodpin. I under stand how this works but then wouldnt the car turn off if remote started as soon as I enter it(do to the saftey feature)?

How else can I wire it so it does not kill the engine when remote started?

Depending on what type of radar you picked up you would hook the trigger wires from the sensor to the blue(- trigger multiplexed) wire at the alarm's main harness. If it keeps going off then disconnect the warn away wire at the radar sensor.

Depends on what make/model the sensor is. If it's a DEI 508D, then you can make the connections at the shock sensor 4 pin harness. Connect the blue and green of the shock sensor to the blue facing the alarm. Connect the blue and green of the proximity sensor to the green facing the alarm.

These inputs are multiplexed like auex said. If the DEI sensor receives a warning trigger, it sends out a 0.5 second pulse to the alarm. If the DEI sensor receives a full trigger, it sends out a 1.0 second pulse to the alarm. The alarm reads the duration of the pulses and sends out the corresponding action.
