sensors not triggering alarm

Here is an perplexing problem

Alarm: Scytek Galaxy 5100
Sensors: Microwave, Glass breakage, Dual-stage Shock, Tilt.

Everything works on the alarm minus the sensors, the hood pins, the door pins trigger the alarm.

First thought, bad connections. I have diode isolated each sensor from each other using the n4001 diodes with cathode(the bands) facing the sensors since the trigger wires are negative. I ran a diode test to make sure that the diodes were blocking the signals the correct way & to make sure there is continuity between the sensor plugs & the sensor plug location on the alarm module.

But no matter what I do I can't get the alarm to trigger from the sensors, the led(s) on the sensors will flash indicating they are tripping but the alarm never goes off.

I unplugged all but one sensor(it varied which one) & would try triggering the alarm & even removing the diode so it was a 'straight shot' from the sensor to the alarm module with the brain still never sensing a trigger.

I'm at a loss as to what it could be and what to try & am asking for some suggestions on what the issue may be & what to try to solve it.

TL;DR: sensors tripping but not triggering alarm even though their diode blocked properly & the wiring is good.

What if you disconnect all sensors, arm the alarm, wait 60 seconds, and then ground the sensor input wire?

Are you waiting at least 60 seconds before tripping the sensors?  Some alarms have delays to prevent false triggering as soon as you arm.

My alarm has a 30 wait time before it becomes active. The armed led will be steady on while arming then blink once a second when armed.

I haven't yet grounded the sensor warning or sensor trigger wires from the alarm straight to ground. I'll do that one tomorrow & see what happens.
