viper 5901 wiring problem.

Hi all,
I was trying to install a new viper 5901 system that I got from ebay to my 99' subaru impreza. The reason I have to do it myself is because me and my car are not in the states. I pretty much did everything needed to be done(I think), but the system still acts weird. I don't know what I did wrong. So I post what I did here hoping that someone might know what's wrong and tell me! Below is my wiring.

main harness
H1/2 red        12VDC constant input---> battery +12V
H1/3 brown      siren output---->siren (+), siren (-) to ground
H1/5 black      chassis ground---->ground
H1/7 blue       trunk pin/instant trigger input--->hood pin
H1/8 green      (-)door trigger input--->door trigger wire
H1/10 WHITE/ blue remote/start/turbo timer activate input--->a button
H1/11 white      parking light output--->parking light wire

Door lock 3-pin connector
1 blue   (-)500mA unlock output--->(-)door unlock
2 empty
3 green (-)500mA lock output--->(-)door lock

H2 harness
H2/9 violet/white   tachometer input--->cam signal from CPU
H2/15 gray           (-)hood pin input-->hood pin
H2/17 brown          (+)brake shutdown input--->break pedal wire
H2/18 BLACK/ white    (-)neutral safety input--->e-brake wire

remote start connector
H3/1 pink           (+)ignition input/output--->ignition wire
H3/2 RED / white      (87)flex relay input--->+12V
H3/3 orange        (+)accessory output--->accessory wire
H3/4 violet        (+)starter output--->starter wire car side
H3/5 green          (+)start output--->start wire key side
H3/6 red            ignition 1 input--->12V
H3/9 RED / black      accessory/starter relay input--->12V

My problem is that when I try to set the polarity for my parking light, (+) seems to be the right selection because the parking light flashes and the siren chirps. But the chirp sound doesn't sound right and the system becomes insensitive to remote signal. If I set it to (-), then the system works fine except for the parking light flash--->no flash. Can anybody help, please?

if you are using the 5901 remote start make sure you have the fuse that plugs into the input selector tight.  If the fuse is plugged in all of the way test both the light output wire and the siren output wire when you arm and disarm the alarm system and see what output the alarm is giving you.  Another thing you can check is that you didnt accidentally tie the siren into the parking light output and vice versa.  Please dont take that the wrong way but I have seen people do that accidentally before.

First what country, then set it to indicators left and right if you are outside North America, set the jumper to neg., white to 85 12V+ constant, fused at 20amps to 87 and 86 and then to each indicator wire (in ignition loom or driver's kick panel) via 2 x 1N5404 diodes with the bands away from the relay.

Thanks for your reply. I haven't got to "remote start" part, but I'm sure all the fuses are plugged in all the way. The siren wire and the parking light wire are connected correctly. I triple checked it!

My car is shipped from US. to Taiwan a few years ago, so it's still a USDM. I'm new to wiring stuff, so let's see if I understand you correctly. I already set the jumper to neg. Only sound, no flash. So I need to get a relay(what kind?). Connect "white" to 12V+ and 85pin of the relay. Connect left indicator to 87pin with a 20amps fuse and a 1N5404 diode with the band away from the relay. Connect right indicator to 86pin with a 20amps fuse and a 1N5404 diode with the band away from the relay. Am i right?

Apologies, It is a US spec, anyway your relay comments are wrong.
Via the jumper, make white neg. Then to 85
86 and 87 12v+ constant fed with a 20amp fuse for both (not each)
30 to lights via the diodes.
Bosch style from any Euro or US car.
Japanese relays are marked differently.
FYI 85 and 86 are the neg. and pos. sides of the actuating coil, 30 and 87 are either side of the switch they are interchangeable.

is the siren not loud enough is that what you mean? cause if thats it u need to cut the 2 black loped wires at the siren it will make it way louder. we only install vipers where i work
