Trying to install this alarm in my 02 dodge ram 2wd auto (black keys)

When I hit the start button on the remote, I get no start. The parking lights flash 8 times (install guide states that this means, neutral safety wire has no ground or the neutral safety switch is off)

I have even grounded the neutral safety wire coming from alarm to no avail.

Any idea?

you need to ground it, and have the nss switch plugged in, and turned to on.

That is how I have it. Switch plugged in turned to on, BLACK/ white wire grounded.

I got that problem fixed, bad neutral switch (the one that comes with the alarm).

Now hit start button, dash lights come on, fuel pump comes on, no starter engage. If I put the keys in the ign, turned to ign, the remote start works.

What am I missing?

you are missing power to a secondary ignition wire.

power up the flex relay and use that for ignition 2

I'm confused. Does the RED / black H3/9 30a fused accessory/starter relay input alarm wire need to be hooked to 12v constant?

same for the H3/2 RED / white 30a fused ign2 / flex relay input 87 ?

When I hook H3/2 to constant 12v, the H3/7 pink/white ign 2 flex relay output shows 12v constant regardless of the alarms state.

Also if I give 12v constant to the H3/9 RED / black alarm wire the starter engages on its on. No keys in ign, no touching key fob?
