I ordered a new remote and and it came in but I can find any info on how to program for a new remote. The last time I got one the co. I took it to just punched some holes in the circuit board. There has got to be a way of programming the alarm to learn the new remote other than this procedure. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

how old is this ?

I cannot even find even a discontinued model listing for this.

you may need to contact kenwood support and ask them.

i believe the punching holes on the circuitboard is the way it's done..still have the punch in my toolbox.  but of course don't remember how you determine the code.  old code alarm remotes made you scratch traces on the circuit board...same idea.

Thanks for the input, any idea where I can find a punch that would work.
I watched the service tech punch it some years ago and all he did was line up the boards and punched it out.

Thanks for the help. I was going to check with some places around town like radio shack and others to see if anyone has one and if not I'll get back with you about borrowing the punch.
Thanks again for your help.
