ok so i have been installing alarms for about 5 years now iand i have not ran into a single problem in about 3-4 years. so i install an EBAY viper 7900 and its a POS but my distributor let me swap it with a new non ebay one so now it works. first problem was the starter kill not allowing power from one side of the start wire to the other so i just bypassed it and problem solved. my next problem was that i couldnt get a positive signal from the alarm for lock or unlock so i just used 2 relays and wired it as if it was a 3 wire positive system.
the problem im currently having is that lock works perfectly fine but unlock only locks the door also. i use the diagram from this site and i tried the pink/vio wire and the pink/grn wire and they both do the same thing. PLEASE HELP!!!

Does the truck have an OEM alarm system or not ? The Single wire system differs in resistance between the two.
