I have the 5901 with the dei xpress kit bypass system installed on my 2003 2500hd silverado, everything works great except for the starter kill. I tr to start the truck with the starter kill wired in and it clicks, pauses and then cranks over. without the starter kill wires connected it starts just fine. Even adding a bosch relay type open starter kill it tries to crank, pauses and then cranks over and runs. Meantime when it is running by key the alarm relays are clicking still, like its getting a signal from the alarm. I already did a warranty swap on the alarm, but same thing happens. any help wiring would be awesome. (side note, remote start did work before just fine, but starting with the key has issues, also using bull dog security harness to harness for the ignition)

Also this is what is wired....
Truck Alarm
starter side violet
Key Side Green
12v+ RED / white, red, RED / black
pink 12v pink ignition 1
pink/white (possibly 2nd ignition in truck?)
Not connected pink/black

The first thing I would check is to make sure your ignition input is a true ignition input and that it doesn't drop out while cranking. ------------- Kevin Pierson
