Hello, i have an Acura Integra 2 dr 94 RS.

It have aftermarket power door actuators. It doesnt have an lock/unlock switch so i tried to add it in myself.

Heres the wiring diagram that i made myself.

I installed the switch, and it locks and unlock.

But once i started the car, the switch doesn't do anything. It doesn't lock/unlock.

So why's this happening? I used a DPDT momentary switch.

Check power source...Does the brain still output a signal when the car is on...Meaning,do you hear the relays clicking inside the brain when lock is pressed,when the car is on...? Is the alarm working properly...? Grab your meter and see whats going on...What has signal and post back results...

Actuators / Reverse Polarity

This is practically identical to the 5 wire alternating 12V(+) system above. The only difference is there's no switch! Both motor legs rest at ground at the relays. To lock or unlock the vehicle, polarity is changed on one motor leg.

5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive Door Locks

Like the configuration above, the switch, when moved in either direction, applies both power and ground directly to motor legs without the use of any relays. Except, at the switch in this case, both motor legs rest at ground . Therefore it is only necessary to change the polarity of one motor leg to lock or unlock the vehicle.

Did you ground the common leg of the switch (assuming you used a three prong switch with two open and one common contact) ? Your diagram is correct so don't change it, just make sure you are signalling ground to the trigger wires, in your diagram i see no depiction of the switch being connected to a ground!

It's done now. Yeah, was missing the ground. I'm so noobie =P
