Hi!
MB C 280 -98 does it have a transponder in the key?? I have try to put the key behind the cylinder but i can not remot start it. when i have lock the doors after that i can not remot start it!! The tach signal is okey and everything else. Does it have something to do to the factory alarm and hove can i see if it have that?? Even i send a - signal to unluck the doors i can not remote start. the key is like a electric key(plastic ) no metal key.
Please can somebody help mee?????????

If you have the smart key and not the switch blade type of key I am pretty sure that there is no type of bypass for this type of transponder making a remote start impossible
