Ok I got a customer who has an 06 jeep wrangler and he wanted to be able to tow it behind his RV. He has a 7pin connector on the RV. He has a coil adapter that changes into a 6 pin round. He had towing lights on there and they worked fine.
So we run wiring front to rear of the jeep. 6 pin connector up front. Tie into factory wiring in rear just as it goes down the body grommet. Wired right turn to BROWN / red, left turn to GREEN/ red, parking lights to WHITE/ yellow. Grounded right there. Also did 4 pin connector there as well.
Now the issue is, turn signals worked but when parking lights are on they start flashing like you got hazards on.
I only have limited time and certain days to play with it. So has anyone done this and know of a fix? Thought about diode isolating it but not sure if that will take care of the problem.

yes you need to diode isolate the wires.

But should I also do the factory wires with diodes or should that be fine and just the new wires.

isolate new and factory wires so they do not backfeed on one another.
