I recently installed an Autopage rf-320 into a 2010 Ford E-Series van. It is setup with passive arming and my issue is that when the system auto arms, after 10 mins the alarm goes off. At least thats what the customer says. I'm thinking its something with the van and the GEM. But not 100% sure where to start. Going to look at it today but looking for some insight.
Little about my install: Used the individual door triggers and diode isolated each. Installed a hood pin which functioned properly when it left. The only odd thing I had to do at the customers request is using a few relays I interupted the drivers door during lock with 1 relay then used the 3rd channel to lock it seperately. also the 2 step unlock is reversed from the norm (again at cust. request) the passenger doors unlock 1st and the drivers door second.
This is for a company who wants me to do a few more each year for them all the same way. And its the same alarm and lock/unlock process that their other vans already have.
I've installed several Compustar alarm only systems into the 2010 E250 and E350 vans and I used the dome light trigger wire at the BCM. No false alarms with this wire.
