Shortly after I had BestBuy install my alarm (matrix) 3 my SRS (Airbag) light came on. at first it was intermitant and now it stays on all the time.  in a closer look i have a blue wire with a brown stripe and brown plug just dangling underneath the dash just above the fuse box.  is this something that woud cause it or would it be something else.  i know it is not really a car security question but it is the closest thing i could relate it to.

Best thing to do is bring the caback to BB and get the installer to fix the problem. If there has been no other work done to the vehicle since the installation, chances are the alarm is interferring withthe SRS or the installer made an error in wiring.
