I have below wiring for my 2005 accord Ex. 4 Cyl. I have alarm system in car already. I have connected using below wiring. Everything is working fine except car does not start with Key. I can able to lock/unlock/remote start/Open trunk using viper 5901 remote

H1/2 --> Connected to White (Ignition Switch)
H1/3 --> Connected to Siren
H1/5 --> Connected to Ground
H1/12--> Connected to Ground

H3/1 --> Connected to BLACK / YELLOW (Ignition Switch)
H3/3 --> Connected to BLACK/ Red (Ignition Switch)
H3/4 --> Connected to car side of the starter wire BLACK/ White (Ignition Switch). BLACK/ White wire is cut
H3/5 --> Connected to Key side of the starter wire BLACK/ White (Ignition Switch). BLACK/ White wire is cut
      I have placed Jump wire between H3/4 and H3/5 and it's working. Somehow relay does not close when I start with Key.
H3/6 --> Connected to white (Ignition Switch)
H3/9 --> Connected to White (Ignition Switch)

H2/18 --> Connected to Ground

All other are not connected since CANMAX400 can take care of other stuff.

Thanks
Sam

Sounds like possibly your internal starter relay is defective - I would try returning it to where you bought it for an exchange.

Did you plug in your ignition harness to the barrel? Try tapping the brain a little with the handle of a screwdriver sometimes the relays tend to latch on! Just to verify, green is key side and purple is engine side, right?

yes Green is key side and purple on engine side. I will try to tap the brain and see if it works. I have solder joint wire very near to ignition switch.

Have you verified with a dmm that you are getting voltage at the starter wire when you turn the key to the crank position?

Does the car start when you wire the starter lines back together like factory? If yes then it could be the alarm brain. If no, then it could be something on the vehicle side
