I'm looking for a basic alarm for an '87 VW Vanagon Turbo Diesel (conversion). Some crack head broke into my van last night and stole a worthless 10 year old stereo and my ash tray full of laundry quarters.
- No Remote Start, Door Locks, Starter Interrupt, or Paging necessary.
I want a basic alarm that has door triggers, vibration sensors and hopefully lets me use a 508D Radar Field Disturbance Sensor and 506T Audio Glass Break Sensor. And the smaller the remote the better. In fact, if I could set the alarm with a hidden switch on the exterior I would prefer that as I hate carrying around a bunch of keys and stuff in my pockets.
Any suggestions on what alarm module to use would be greatly appreciated.
I have experience with electronics, can read a schematic, solder and know how to use relays and diodes.
Thanks,
David
p.s. I searched around and didn't find much relating to my topic.
