Does the vehicle have a trigger wire for the windows to roll down?

If this is anything like the comfort close on European cars, venting or lowering the windows will unlock the car so forget it.

i don't know if it has a trigger wire or not all i know is when the factory alarm was in the car i could hold the unlock button an the windows would roll down but i would have to roll them up before i got out of the car know that i have the viper 5901 installed they wired it up for when i arm the car the windows roll up 3 seconds after that..i just figured that i could put the windows to roll down when i hit function one time then auxiliary

you could do it but like howie said once you give it a negative pulse it will unlock your doors as well

Description of Global Open/Close:

repair manual wrote:

The global open/close feature is controlled by the DDM. The global open feature involves the DDM either receiving a signal from the door lock cylinder being held in the UNLOCK position for 2 seconds or the DDM
receiving a signal from an RKE transmitter (when the customer holds the UNLOCK button on the transmitter for 2 seconds to activate the feature) and sending a voltage signal to the LH front, RH front smart window
motors and the smart roof opening panel motor (if equipped). The smart window motors and smart roof opening panel motor carry out a global open (simultaneous opening of the front windows and roof opening panel).
Pressing any button on the RKE transmitter, or actuating the door lock cylinder to the UNLOCK or LOCK position interrupts the global open function.

The global close feature can only be accomplished with the key in the door lock cylinder. The key must hold the door lock cylinder to the LOCK position for 2 seconds, at which time the DDM receives the door lock cylinder
signal and sends a global close signal to the smart window motor and the smart roof opening panel motors. The smart motors then carry out a global close (simultaneous closing of the front windows and roof opening panel)
function. The global close function can be terminated in the same manner as the global open function.

So like howie says extended unlock output is the way to go.

Let me tell you about a nightmare I had about 4 years ago.
Customer with a brand new 3 litre Ford Mondeo Ghia X pack( =top spec Ford 500).
Wanted it all, top end G5 Alarm and rem/start, + win close.
All the alarm manufacturers said don't bother but he was insistent.
I found that versions with global close had neg switching and going to the motor + - ign stand off and a data wire.
Diode grounding the switches both ways, easy enough, but each ign (separate colours) to each door and roof, bit of a bind, any way did it.
first if the roof was closed and you closed any windows, it opened the roof, second and more important it was throwing trouble codes on to the instrument panel!
Net result, everything taken off monies returned less labour and that car is the most thoroughly specified on Directwire!
Nowadays, if someone wanted that I would insist they used the factory key fob.

By the way to make the point, I don't know how similar the Lincoln is to the S type Jag but on the Ford Mondeo, the lock/unlock triggers and deadlock motor wires were completely separate on the GEM box.
I tried extending time to both and getting nowhere.
