Is there a more rugged remote for the clifford systems? I've had a 50.5 installed for about two weeks and the screen is wasted on this remote.

There isnt another remote for the 50.5. I have the 3.5 with a similar remote. I treat it like my cell phone. I also got a pice if clear vinyl from a decal shop to help protect the screen from scratches.
