Searched all over and no one here at my place has a clue. Problems :-
1. Could not locate the power door lock/unlock wires. I traced the 5-wire-factory 'actuator', able to detect one ground, and the other 4 in pairs, only shows 12V neg and 2-3V neg when manually lock/unlock. How do I tap onto the central locking? I'm a newbie at this.
Pls advise.
Allan
does the driver door control all of the doors????
if so you can add a ACTUATOR to the drivers door and hook it up to the alarm. it will inturn operate the rest of the doors.

don't be able to locate this wire but opening the driver's door panel reveal that it is a 5 wire factory actuator operated via cable from the opener. Saw the bk/red n bk/yell but it is hooked on to the door light.
Installing an actuator need some creativity I guess and space limitation by the window glass.
Pls help.
The nearest installer is about 500kms away and have not done on this vehicle too. :(
or can i cut two wires that power the lock/unlock mechanism and power them separately from the alarm?
Have you tested the two wires listed with a light tester or DMM to see if they are the target wires ?

I'm not sure I'm right, this is what I've done so far. Out of the five cables, one is black - common ground. The rest four wires are in pairs ( I believe) as they share one common colour and of different gauge. The thicker ones when probe individually shows 12V when I turn the door key lock to lock/unlock respectively. The other thinner wires show lower voltages....
I thought about it through the night, my options are :-
1) cut off the two thicker wires 12V and wired them to seperate relays to lock/unlock. But will I loose the central locking functionality? Only one way to find out right? Cut n join them back should it went wrong?
2) trace the trigger wire and perhaps add diodes in order to protect the original circuit?
kindly help me step-by-step in troubleshoot my first attempt...
or third option as highlighted by most installer, add an actuator. Is that a wise solution? I find it difficult to add as the metal pin is on the outer side which means I need to install the actuator on the outer side after the window glass right? How can I secure it then? Arghhh... desperately needing help
