Hey guys, I am doing a remote start in a 07 Tahoe and was wondering which bypass to use. Everyone used to say to use a DLPK, but I see that DEI took it off their list as a immobilizer bypass. If anyone has what I need in stock, shoot me a PM and we'll figure something out.

Let me know,
Thank you

I used to use DEI stuff. Cant see why the DLPK wouldnt work. I use idatalink now and an ads-dl will work for you.

Have you had any problems with battery draining with the ads-dl wired that way that doesn't require the rfloop?

PM me if you can sell me one..

the ads-dl does require the rfloop. looking more into it i would actually go with the DLPK. you dont need the loop. i've used it on an 09 silverado and it worked flawlessly. my buudy used something else , i think something from audiovox and had all kinds of issues on a 2010 tahoe. told him to switch it out to a DLPK and the car is fine. so go with DLPK. its install 16 in the guide and pretty straight forward

Thought the DLPK is only for door locks?? The XK09 should do immobilizer and door locks plus more if your doing a security system.

You can use the XK09 or the XK01, they will both work fine or the DLPKGM will also do what you are looking for, and in the older dei stuff before xpress kit, it's the dei 1701G for the vehicle..

A XK01 works for everything? Why isn't it listed in xpresskit.com?

My bad, on the 07 it only does the doors and the 06 and down does both. XK09 is what you want,

they got the bugs worked out of the XK09 yet? tried 3 of them on 3 different vehicles and none worked. replaced them with an idatalink here a DLPK there and the cars were fine. I still say DLPK. for some reason they have it listed as door locks only but if you look at the manual for install #16 it will do this tahoe

If I were to do the locks with the DLPK and used a key in the box for the bypass, would I be set? I havent been able to get the DLPK to bypass the immobilizer and I happen to have both a 556U and DLPK sitting around

This will work. Wire everything on the dlpk except the WHITE/ black wire. Don't cut the brown wire, just tap the yellow from the dlpk to the brown. This will also elimate the draw problem with the dlpk. Good luck.
