I have recently been experiencing difficulties unlocking my car doors with the rs1000 remote. No problems with locking though. Remote is fully charged just to make sure it's not a battery problem. What is causing this? This just happened recently after having the remote start installed for 2 years now. I can still use my factory (oem) car remote to unlock/lock my car with no problems so I'm not quite sure what's going on. I sometimes forget that I armed the car with the autopage remote and then use the oem remote to disarm the car and what do you know... the car alarm is triggered :/

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem with the autopage rs1000 remote start system?

Right now I'm just using the factory remote until I find a solution for the autopage remote.

Yes....how is the Autopage interfaced with the door locks in the car? Was a module used, or were wires inserted into empty pins at the bcm? The easiest way to find out what's goin on, would be to a multimeter to the unlock wire of the Autopage unit. This will tell if the the system is even sending an unlock pulse. Chances are, it's something simple....like setting your system to double pulse...
