ok guys so i did my first alarm install. Time consuming but i wired everything up. The alarm works perfect. No problems but the remote start shows error. I wired the neutral safety wire to the ebrake.
Below is how I wired the remote start harness from the alarm to my ignition harness.I just noticed that my battery is draining slowly.

(H3) 10-pin connector
H3/1 PINK (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT =BLACK/ White ignition harness
H3/2 RED / WHITE (+) FUSED (30A) IGNITION 2 / FLEX RELAY INPUT 87 = White ignition harness

H3/3 ORANGE (+) ACCESSORY OUTPUT = Blue
H3/4 VIOLET (+) STARTER OUTPUT (CAR SIDE OF THE STARTER KILL) = BLACK/ Red Ignition Switch Harness

H3/5 GREEN (+) STARTER INPUT (KEY SIDE OF THE STARTER KILL WIRE) = BLACK/ Red Ignition Switch Harness

H3/6 RED (+) FUSED (30A) IGNITION 1 INPUT = White ignition harness
H3/7 PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION 2 / FLEX RELAY OUTPUT = Blue/Black ignition harness

H3/8 PINK/BLACK (+) FLEX RELAY INPUT 87A key side (if required) of FLEX
RELAY = Cut short and tape off

H3/9 RED / BLACK (+) FUSED (30A) ACCESSORY/STARTER INPUT = White ignition harness

Is your car manual or Automatic?  Seven parking lights flashes indicate:

Manual transmission mode is enabled and not initialized.

yes my car is manual. That is the error showing up. But i have the switch pluged to the brain. The neutral safety wire is connected to the E-brake.

I don't do DEI stuff, but any of the other manny tranny stuff that I install requires a process that you have to go through before you get out of the vehicle. You can't just hop out of the vehicle like you can with a remote start on an auto.

I have not done a manual remote start install so I must confess that I am not sure of the next step to take. However, in comparing the install manuals for the Viper 5301 and 5701 there is a there is a manual start procedure listed in those manuals that I don't see in the 5901 manual. On page 60 of the 5301 manual and page 78 of the 5701 manual. I don't see this procedure listed at all in the 5901 manual. The 5301 & 5701 install manuals are in the download section of this site,  as follows:

Manual transmission remote start

If the vehicle has manual transmission the proper steps must be followed before

leaving the parked vehicle or the remote start feature is disabled.

Make sure the doors on the vehicle are closed.

Put the transmission in neutral.

Press on the brake in the vehicle.

Apply the emergency brake.

Release the brake.

Within 15 seconds activate the remote start from the remote.

The parking lights will flash confirming that the remote start is active.

Turn off the ignition (the car should stay running when key is turned off).

Exit the vehicle.

Arm the alarm (the vehicle should shut off when arming the system).

You can now remote start the vehicle. If a door is opened or if the alarm is triggered

before the next remote start activation the system will not remote start.

Hope this will work for you.

do you have a door pin wire from the viper connected to the car?  it needs to see the door trigger before you shut it down.

also, i believe you have to run a tach wire in manual mode as well.    make sure you program the tach first.  then go through the shutdown sequence

yes the door pin is connected. And the tach wire is connected and used the control center to program tach. I had the starter input and output backwards so i fixed that. But now once i start my car with my key the starter wont disengage. So the remote start wiring must be wrong on something i just cant figure it out

Looking back on your first post, it looks like you might have the H3/3 wire and the H3/7 wire reversed.  The wiriing charts list the BLUE/BLACK  as Accessory, and the BLUE as Ignition 2. Also do you have the H3/7 programed as Ignition 2?

H3/7 PINK/WHITE – Ignition 2 flex relay output.

This wire is factory programmed as Ignition 2 and can be programmed as a 2nd

accessory or 2nd starter.

since this is a manual how did you bypass the clutch?  does it need to be pressed to the floor to start the vehicle with the key?

That wiring diagram is wrong the blue wire is acc and the blue black is the 2nd ignition. I have checked myself.I corrected the battery drain it had nothing to do with the install.

I removed the clutch switch completely so i can start the veichle without pressing the clutch pedal. Im really fustrated i have check my wiring atleast 6 times and im sure its correct. Is there a way to switch it to automatic mode instead of manual?
