Has anyone installed a Factory keyless upgrade alarm on a 2010 Doge Grand Caravan.I know that i can use a transponder bypass module which gives me all the alarm wiring but i just have to install a basic alarm only to this vehicle and the owner wants to use the oem remotes.Any info will be very much appreciated.
Thanks

I will be straight up with you on this one. No one is replying because Chrysler and Upgrade Alarms dont mix. What a headache. Those alarms work by sensing the the switch wires (-) or (+) and the motor wires but the sitch wires are canbus resisted data wires. So then these units say monitor park light wires but the only flash when you lock--- not unlock.

End result, there is a way to Jerry Rig it to work. But if a thief breaks in he can simply press the unlock button to disarm the system

Bottom line, talk your customer into a multichannel alarm to do all of the features his factory remote does--- like open and close sliders. Tell him the disadvantages of the add-on alarms for this vehicle and the added benefits of better range with new remotes.

Thanks for the info and i havealready installed the keyless upgrade alarm on the Gr Caravan. It works fine and does not disarm with the unlock switch on the door as i have have used motor lock,dr unlock and all unlock wires.Omegas Ultimate keyless upgrade is very reliable which i have used for a number of years.
Most of the gathered alarm info state going to the engine compartment to get all the wires, this is not necessary as all the wires are in the driver kick panel and harness leading to the firewall.
