Recently purchased two new remotes for my K9 Classic, but I am having difficulty in getting them installed.  Tried to follow the instruction thatcame with the remotes, but nothing happens.  Press the necessary buttons, but zero, nada, zilch.  Any suggestions?

OK, hate to sound dumb, but where is the "Valet" switch located?  This alarm system was already installed when I purchased the vehicle from the original owner, and I don't have any paperwork on this unit.

had to do research on this recently.
the valet switch is usually on just below the left side of the steering wheel or further underneath the right side. it will either be a toggle switch or a tiny spring button.
