Hey guys, I've been doing my research and I've been hearing good and bad things about the XK07. I need a good unit that doesn't require me to get rid of a key because I only have one key. I have a Clifford 50.5x and I plan on buying the Xpresskit XK07.

My car is a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan and I just wanted to verify some information before I place my order.

I am also getting a proximity sensor, DEI 508D, that wires into the shock sensor not the shock sensor control right?

Also, do I wire the XK07 unit into the Clifford 50.5x or just straight into my vehicle? I was just wondering how my alarm unit controls the remote start.

The questions you are asking leads me to believe you have never installed on of these before.

If that is the case then I highly recommend you visit your local alarm/stereo shop and get a quote for installation.

Here in South FL the going rate to install a remote start alarm with customers product runs about $200-$225

About $400-$500 with us supplying product and install

If you decide you want to still do it yourself we are here to help. First get a print-out of this site for you vehicles wiring diagram.

your 508d should plug directly into you alarms MUX port.

I am not understanding fully this question: I was just wondering how my alarm unit controls the remote start.

the alarm unit and remote start are one in the same. Could you specify?
