Hello. I bought a 91 Integra that has a viper 500 esp alarm in it. so i just bought a viper key fob off ebay and I can't seem to program it to my alarm....the alarm is doing all the chirping that the directions say it should but the remote just isn't working. not sure if you have to have a certain viper fob that is compatible with the alarm or if i am just doing something wrong. any suggestions?? thank you

What is the "date code" stamped into the back of the control module?

I just went out and looked at it and i didn't see anything that said "date code". I have the FCC ID number and that is ERSDEIHTRCVR.....i don't know if that helps at all. And the FCC ID on the key fob that i bought is EZSDE17641. any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

The date code is like I said, stamped into the back of the module.  2 wheels with an arrow pointing to the month and year, like 7  99

And you'll need a 475Q  remote.
