Ok I just put in a Viper 5901 and two 530T's into my car (one sunroof one window) into a 1992 Acura Integra GS and I have a couple problems. First when the car is armed the windows roll down not up but when activated with Aux they go down also? I hook up the trunk wire to the correct one and my trunk light is partialy on and i'm getting a trunk error on the remote. Please help

I just installed a Viper 5901 and two 530T's into my 1992 Acura Integra and I have a couple issues. First when I arm the car the windows and sunroof roll down not up but when aux is used they also roll down. Second when I arm the car I get a trunk error and my trunk light is partially lit when I have the key on. I disconnect the wire and the light goes away. Please help

obviuosly an install error. 530T's are solid state. I cant imagine 2 going haywire. I am assuming your integra is a 4 door seda.

Does your windows work normally from the factory window switches?

did you diode isolate your ground when armed wire from other components and the trigger wire also?

if you disconnect the orange and the RED / white wires of the 530t and you ground the orange wire does the windows roll up? if you ground the RED / white does your windows roll down? Do each module separately.

Where did you mount the window modules? please dont say in the door panel because my next question would be--- where did you ground the modules at?

I dont have an install manual handy for your alarm so if you could tell me more info on the trunk trigger wire.

trunk trigger GREEN/ black in drivers kick panel shows ground when open. When you test this wire do you see it go to ground when trunk is open then rests at a positive voltage when closed because 12V backfeeds through the trunk light filament

This is a 2 door integra running 1 530t for the windows and 1 for the sunroof. I don't know about the windows but the sunroof closes and opens correctly with one push of the sunroof button.

I did not know I needed to diode isolate this line. What exactly would I diode isolate it from?

I will have to test the wires today and get back to you

The modules are mounted in the door but there is a ground ran into the vehicle and then the switch ground is grounded to the line off the switch.

As far as the trunk trigged i'm pretty sure it rests at nothing but I will have to double check

Sounds like the window up wires of the 530T is hooked up in reverse.

The trunk trigger input wire may be pinched somewhere. Disconnect the trigger input wire to see if you still get the error on the remote. If you do, you most likely pinched or abraded the wire during installation.

Sorry I guess I should have added more info. The sunroof works properly with the switch and with aux it will open. Also when I first hook the battery up the windows will roll up and the sunroof will close.

When I disconnected the trunk wire it did still throw the error saying it was open. Is there an easy way to test for this or is it best just to look at the wire?

I don't know how you routed the trunk wire but look at locations where panels or parts come into contact with the body. Such as, the kick panel, rocker panel, other trim panels, rear seat, etc. Think about your install and start eliminating pinch points by removing the possible culprit; start with the easy parts like kick panel and rocker panel, if that is part of your route.

Wire was ran directly to the drivers side kick panel. It hasn't passed through metal or plastic or anything. I don't have the alarm mounted yet I was running my connections and doing my testing then I was going to mount it. I will check the wire anyways though

The wire is sitting out in the open right now?
How was the wire extended? Check the connection to make sure it is not exposed.
Just to be clear, you are using the H1/7 Blue wire, right?

Wire was not extended and I am using the blue wire off that harness. Wire is caped right now with a crimp splice but either way I try it same issue

when all else fails, check the chassis ground connection
