i'm installing the Astra 4000rs alarm & remote starter system . my car is a Honda Accord 95 , i try to do remote start after hookup all the wire ( no tach wire connect yet ) , however the car start with out the tach wire , if i using the remote start with out the tach signal wire , is it damage to the car ? or it good to use it like that .

No damage will occur. You can run it with or without the tach. You might run across problems with remote starting during the winter, but Scytek stuff is generally reliable in tachless mode.

i'm new to install remote start , i don't understand about the tachless mod , can you explain about it ? thank you for your help

Ok so tachless mode watches the voltage of your car.  You hit the remote start, your voltage drops while the starter is cranking, then when the car starts and the alternator is charging the car's electrical system the voltage picks back up.  So basically, it sees a voltage drop while cranking, then once the car starts and the voltage picks back up, it stops cranking...but it sees all this really fast, so no overcranking issues.  

When i install a RS, i try it tachless and 95% of the time it works.  If it doesnt work, i get a tach source.
