im trying to install an autopage RF-425LCD on my 2006 ford escape, i've found the wiring diagram and lots of info on how to wire my alarm, but im still confused about the door wiring as well as the starter interupt, the doors work on a negative pulse, from one wire, how would i wire a six pin?
6 pin works as fallows
brown-unlock switch....n/c (87a)
blue-unlock motor....common (30)
violet-unlock....n/o (87)
white- lock switch....n/c (87a)
green-lock motor....common (30)
violet/red- lock....n/o (87)
and my starter interupt is negative and grounded when the alarm is armed is it still okay to wire it on the positive wire?
heres the wiring diagram-

You cannot connect the starter kill wire directly to the starter wire in the vehicle. The starter kill (-) output wire is made to trigger a relay to interrupt the starter wire. Starter kill output to #85, igniton SWITCH side of the CUT starter wire to #30 and #86, Starter MOTOR side of cut wire to 87A.
And for the door locks.. you wont use the 87A's
Ground (-) goes to BOTH 30's
Then one of your 87's will be LOCK and the OTHER 87 will be UNLOCK, connect them to your lock and unlock wires.
thank you! the starter infos awesome mark, it also says it has a 500ma capacity, does that matter any?the door locks and unlocks work with only one wire, would i still need to use the 1000 ohm resistor with the relay wiring? cuz theres alot saying i need two relays...how would i wire them?
thanks i know im askin alot :P
correct way according to standards
87 - ground
30 - to lock/unlock wires on car
87a - not used
