We recently picked up Python as a brand we are now installing. We usually do Code Alarm and did Zenesis for a while. We have dropped Zenesis because of the constant issues they have been having, and are replacing the units with Python now.

I am a little confused with some of the wires. None of the other brands had the wires worded this way, so want to make sure I am understanding properly. Its a 991 Model.

H3/1 Pink Ignition 1 input/output. I am assuming this wires powers ignition 1 as well as monitors it for output. Correct?

H3/6 Red Ignition 1 input. I believe this wire is to be connected to constant positive to give the output to the Pink wire above.

H3/9 RED / Black Accessory/Starter Relay Input. If my thinking is correct about the Red wire above, this wire would do the same function but for the accessory and starter wires.

H3/2 Flex Relay Input. Again same as above if you need to use the flex relay for an additional ignition wire.

H1/12 Orange Ground when Armed output. Is this also a GWR wire as well? If not, what is the GWR wire to be use?

Is my thinking correct, or am I misunderstanding the descriptions?

Thanks

Shawn

Orange is for starter kill output. not GWR Ground While Running that is the same as status output for bypass modules.

You have a handle on the rest of the wires

Thanks.

The other wire that is confusing me, H1/4 WHITE/ Brown Parking Light Isolation Wire.

Is this only used if the factory parking lights need to be isolated from the factory switch. Basically eliminating having to use a separate relay to isolate the parking light?

How is this actually used? Do you cut the wire from the switch and tie that to the WHITE/ Brown as an input, then use the parking light output to go to the parking lights?

Appreciate the clarifications.

Correct on the WHITE/ Brown.  The white brown is the "87A" of the parking light relay.

Thanks for the clarification on the parking light isolation wire.

I do have another question about neutral safety wire and switch. The BLACK/ White H2/18 and also the plug in toggle switch are both for neutral safety. Do they both need to be hooked up to see a ground, or can you use one and leave the other unused?

Thanks

You are going to need both. If the plug with the toggle switch in not plugged in and in the ON position, it will not work.

Thanks. After looking at the actual wiring for the toggle switch, I seen that both wires plug into the brain. I was thinking one plugged in and the other was to be ran to ground.

Thats why I was getting confused and wondering why they both needed to be hooked up since they were the same thing. Guess I should have looked closer at the toggle switch plug in before I asked.
